The film "Wild Horizon - the development of the Mountian Range of the Lech Spring", shows all facets of the singular wild river from the Red Wall near the Formarinsee to the alpine meadows in the Arlberg region to Austria's longest suspension footbridge in Holzgau. The documentary will be broadcast on Sunday, 25. November 2012 at 6.25 pm on ORF 2. Preview is on Friday, 23. November 2012 at 6.00 pm in the Postgarage in Lech am Arlberg.

Bluatschink - Anniversary Concert

With the song "Along the Lech", Toni "Bluatschink" Knittel has composed the hymn for the Lechweg. An anniversary concert will take place next year, on Thursday, 11. Juli 2013 at the Geierwally Open-Air Stage in Elbigenalp.
New Section of Trail Complete

Along the first stage of from Formarinsee in direction Lech am Arlberg, a new part of the Lechweg trail was built. You walk over planks and narrow paths - always along the Lech River.

The artist Guenter Rauch installed a Porta Alpinae on the Lechweg which invites walkers to take in the quiet, beauty and mysticism of the mountains. The Lechweg is looking for photos which reflect the singularity of the landscape, and will raffle off teriffic prizes.
